# Your Brand Profile

Field-by-field guide to the Brand Profile — what each field does, which producer reads it, when to update it.

> **One record, every producer's source of truth — what each field does, who reads it, when to change it.**

The Brand Profile is the most important record in the workspace. Every producer reads from it at runtime. Changing a field here propagates to every workflow run that fires after the change. The full field map is below — what the field is for, which producer uses it, and when changing it makes sense.

Connected channels and their status are held in the Brand Profile and shown in System Health.

## When To Update Each Field

* **Brand Tone, Prohibited Language, Audience Description** — anytime the brand's voice or focus shifts.
* **Categories, Markets** — when expanding into new categories or geographies.
* **Competitor Seed, Brand Exclusions** — when competitor landscape changes.
* **Soft Upsell** — when promotion or campaign focus shifts.
* **Active** — to pause everything, or to reactivate after a pause.

Most identity fields (Brand Name, URL, WordPress URL) and configuration fields (Markets DataForSEO, Short Link Folder ID) are set at onboarding and rarely change.
